Floral Bliss Apartment

I don’t have much bad to say and will definitely be staying here again when in I’m in Budapest. But I just have one little comment. The sofa was a little worn out and could be replaced.

Things I liked: The apartment is beautiful, an ideal size for 1-3 people The owner Flora owns a bakery downstairs from the apartment and will give you a free sandwich & coffee. They're so good you'll want to buy one every single morning It is perfectly equipped with every cooking utensil you could imagine, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, Nespresso machine (the nearby Lidl and Aldi both stock compatible capsules for Nespresso), iron, ironing board, hairdryer, fan, tv, wifi. If you think you need it, Flora has already thought of it & provided it. The bed and pillows are really comfortable, I was dreading being away from my memory foam pillow but I had no aches or pains the whole week It is in a residential neighbourhood while still being in the city. You'll see locals walking their dogs throughout the day and night, and stopping in the little park outside to chat to each other. There's the Lidl & Aldi already mentioned and also locally owned smaller stores. The local restaurants seem very popular - I ate at Pho 1993 and at Paletta and can highly recommend both. If you're wanting to be right in the middle of all the city buzz and action then this is not the place for you. But if, like me, you appreciate a bit of peace and quiet after a hard day's sightseeing, then this is right up your utca. It has a bath! I love a bath, it's so soothing for the muscles after all the walking one does around Budapest The transport links are amazing - turn left at the park for Mester Utca then take a right and walk to the junction with Ferenc Korut for trams right into the centre, or turn right for a 5 minute walk to the Metro station Semmelweis Klinikak on the M3 line. Download the Budapest Go app for your BKK public transport tickets. I bought the Budapest card but quite honestly I didn't save any money because I wasn't interested in museums. I didn't like that I had to leave. Honestly, Floral Apartment was such a great find, it was like a home away from home, and Flora is a perfect host

Everything was good, the owner really met and explained in detail how to open the door and use everything. The bed is comfortable. There was also a washing machine and a capsule for washing, so I was able to refresh my things.

I can't say it was a problem, but I'm used to always being provided with slippers. Also, it's not a big problem there was a scale in the kettle, so I only used bottled water. By the way, the scale was easy to remove with citric acid, if you boil one spoon in the kettle. Overall, the price is very good for this room, I've been to more expensive and much worse places in this city, so what it is very nice place for good money.

Spotless clean, very well equipped and cozy apartment. Subway, tram and bus stops are just a few minutes walk away. We are very happy with the place :)

Very quiet area with a park in front of the building. Access to multiple transportation options (tram and metro in 5-10 minutes walk). Fully equipped kitchen. Easy self check in option.

The air conditioning is in the living room and did not cool the air in the bedroom, however there was a ventilator in the bedroom which helped a bit. The sofa in the living room might need some repairs or even be changed.

Excellent apartment in a very good location. Everything was clean and organised. Flora was very helpful and easy to reach.

The airconditioner in the bedroom was not very strong and the room got very hot by the morning (it was extremely hot outside as well - maybe it is not a big issue when there isn't a heatwave in the city). The aircon in the living room worked well.
