Roland Apartmant Zuglo

There is an air conditioner, a stove, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, and all the good things end there.

Unfortunately, it was a negative experience. Terrible smell of cigarettes. We had 1 towel for 4 people, several more towels were wet in the washing machine. Soap, toilet paper, all this is not in this apartment. But the icing on the cake was a small cute cockroach that nimbly ran across the dishes on which there were dried food residues.

Great place

The rooms were in two separated building to each other in close distance. Parking was no problem. The place was okey for this price, nothing special, but clean and tidy.

The communication with the owner was a bit slow and there were a minor misunderstanding, but no big deal.

Large room in the apartment, located in a quiet area, equipped with most of what you'll need and with a good price for what you get.

The cleaning could be better: there was dirt on floor, dust on the bed frame that hasn't been wiped off for some time, the shower gel Holder was dirty and a milliped was walking on the bed upon arrival :)

Location is good. You can walk to the spa and the inner city is just an e-scooter ride away. You get so much for your money. Fridge freezer, washing machine and cooker with lots of utensils. Shower is also amazing, better than a lot of hotels.

While the bed is super comfy the mattress does not come with a fitted sheet. Its a big ask to expect an extra like this for such a low price but it would make the property perfect. Front uPVC door lock is slightly misaligned (an easy fix for a handyman, I've fixed a similar fault on my own front door with just a screwdriver) but can be overcome by lifting the handle up and down once or twice. Not really a big issue but its again a small thing that can be fixed relatively easily.

The location was ok.

The host (Roland) sucks at communicating and was very rude and borderline incompetent especially when booking at another place of his in the city. There was no elevator or escalator in the house so getting a big heavy suitcase up the stairs was not exactly the highlight of our night, and finally the bathroom was really in a subpar condition while we were there. Overall would not recommend.
