Great Market Hall Apartment

The host was very attentive.

The oven was very dirty, and we could not use it. They sent someone to clean it, but it still smelled very bad. The hot water lasted only a very few minutes, and then needed to wait 1-2 hours to recover. We were 3 people, so this was unconfortable. The bed was very close to the side walls, so you needed to get crawling from the foot end.

This is my 2nd stay here. The owners are very helpful and friendly and left me a gift each time which is a lovely personal touch. The location is outstanding on a quiet street minutes away from the river and market hall. Property is always perfectly clean and has everything in it you could possibly need to do your cooking entirely at the apartment if you wanted to, no need to go out and eat. Great size for more than 1 person! Very quiet and well kept block of apartments, I never feel unsafe or bothered by anyone. I really feel at home!

It’s difficult to come up with any negatives for such a great place! I can only come with two minor points: 1) Sometimes, in the bed I noticed a little odd dusty or damp kind of smell. I’m not sure what from. 2) The boiler in the bathroom can be a bit of a challenge when there’s more than 1 of you. My tip is to wait at least a half hour between showers, that way you’ll be ensured a hot shower every time.

The location was ideal, within walking distance to Vaci Street (2 minutes). Communication with the host was easy via messages. Everything meets expectations. I will come again when in Budapest. VRACAR RULEZ

If you are not used to old buildings in Budapest's city center, then building hall and terrace access to the room can be a bit spooky.

The location is absolutely fabulous, there is al2 cafes and a brunch spote just outside, the apartment itself is secluded enough to be quiet and peaceful and it has everything one needs for a comfortable stay.

The bed is just a tiny bit uncomfortable, but nothing too crazy, I still got a good nights sleep.

Absolutely loved the place! Very spacious, had everything we need, exactly like in the pictures. Stayed for one night only , wish it was more. Really great place!

Good localization and easy access. Parking (paid) nearby.

Too many back-and-forth messages. I would have preferred fewer messages. The apartment was clean but it smelled moldy.
