Design, Comfort, nearest shops, everything is 10 out of 10. The owner was super nice and friendly, responsive, and even left a compliment for us. If I ever need to stay somewhere during my stay in Budapest I will choose this flat, the saddest thing is that I did not get to know it earlier cause I traveled to Budapest every year for more than 15 years.

The accomodation was actually rather nice - spatious and pretty well equipped. I would probably rate the accomodation itself 8 or 9.

The check-in was terrible. While we were already travelling, I was informed that I need to install a mobile application to check in. This is wrong for several reasons: - I consider this an imposition about which I should have been informed before booking (so that I can choose not to book). - Every mobile application is a security risk, certainly one that requires me to phtograph my documents and transfer personal information to the host. - The application is pretty bad. It would not let me check in without providing email addresses and phone numbers of my children. It required photographing and OCRing my and my partner's documents, and this was implemented so poorly that on the first attempt I waited for 30 min for some ID database to initialise, which it failed to do. - The application claimed that our documents are processed locally and the photos are not sent anywhere. The host claimed that Hungarian law requires scanning/photographing documents. It sounds pretty strange that you could satisfy the law by photographing documents but not actually getting the photos (although not entirely impossible I suppose). - The worst thing is that this could be the beginning of a trend. On this trip we were cycling along the Danube, sleeping in a different place every day. If all the accomodations required us to install a mobile application, each one with its own problems, the whole experience would be substantially worse. We need to fight this practice, refuse to stay at places that do this!

The kitchen is fully equipped

Only one air conditioner is really working, in the bedroom. The living room air conditioner isn’t cooling enough. One bedroom is without air conditioner at all. The property listed with 2 bathrooms, but in reality their is one bathroom and one toilet. So It is a lie!

Nice flat in central location and nice contact to host.

- No free parking space in front of the flat - It can become noisy

Spotless. Well equipped. Modern facilities. Having the balcony was a bonus. A minute’s walk to the Metro and only three stops to be right in the centre of the city. 25 minute walk to the peaceful Margaret Island park. All in all, exceeded expectations.
