Boutique Apartment in Budapest Downtown

Very detailed instructions to get to the apt - impossible to get lost! Barbara, the host, is very polite, and came to fix the heating and the drainage without me even asking. The apt is clean, there is everything necessary, the beds are comfortable, the sheets do not smell like cheap repugnant laundry detergent. 2 min walk from the subway, 5 from the Danube, somewhat 20 from the party areas.

Sewage smell is a curse of old houses in Budapest - highly sensitive people will have difficulties. And you never know if it's the apartment itself or because they are renovating the building. In my case i don't believe it was the host's fault - there were some construction works in the building when i came, but i guess i was unlucky and after 2 sleepless nights had to leave. Or you can keep the window open in the small room, if you are not afraid of cold. The big room didn't smell.

Apartment was superb, in a great location and Barbara was extremely helpful.

We arrived late in the evening and access to keys was simple via the lockbox. The host's instrictions for accessing the apartment were clear. The apartment was lovely! Spotlessly clean, comfy beds and spacious. The location was perfect too. Right beside the metro station, around the corner from a pub serving the best goulash soup, and a load of fantastic restaurants with a minutes walk- Italian, noodle bar, Mexican street food and of course Hungarian! A big shout out to the host! She was so helpful with our requests and replied to everything! We stayed for 4 nights and could have easily stayed longer!

The host was amazing from the moment we booked to the moment we left. The main bed was extremely comfortable, the sofa bed wasn't as comfy as the main bed but still had no complaints (what you expect of a sofa bed).

The communication on how to collect the keys was very clear and allowed us to enter the property late in the evening after our flight. It also meant that we could leave early in the morning without having to bother the host.

Clean, airy and spacious for 2 people. Air conditioning was very welcome. Modern design and very clean
