Christie's Downtown Apartment

Nicely located within walking distance to most sites in the Pest side. Its a home away from home. This property is nicely designed like a loft. Clean and comfortable. Do your laundry, iron your cloths. There are twin beds on the ground and another twin on the top. Ideal for a family of 4 to stay comfortably. Decent size equipped kitchen if you want to cook. No TV which was great! Umbrella is a nice touch since it rained. Check in and out info is easy to follow. No hidden cost. Exactly like the pictures. Everything you need for your stay is thoughtfully prepared by the host!

Need to know - The apartment is located on the 3rd floor without a lift. On arrival at 2am, the apartment building and entrance was not welcoming. It was dark and old - first impression, but the apartment unit itself is wonderful.

We had a wonderful experience staying here for 2 nights, can highly recommend it: (1) the location is literally walking distance everywhere in the center; (2) apartment is spacious and equipped with everything we wished for; spotless clean and quiet; the outside street looks quite busy at night but the fact that the apartment is at 3rd floor and there is in building hall we didn’t hear any noise from outside; it almost felt like staying an oasis in the middle of Budapest rush; (3) self check-in was very smooth, we received all details in advance making out late arrival stressless and convenient.

We stayed here for two nights and were very satisfied. The apartment is right in the centre, nice restaurants, cafes and bars nearby, yet very quiet and nothing disturbed us at night. Wifi worked without any problem and communication with the owner also good. I recommend it to everyone :)

We had no idea we would have to climb all those stairs with heavy suitcases, would have been good to know before booking. The towels were extremely thin. No TV.

We had an awesome time! The accommodation is very well equipped, and everything was pristine. Salt, oil, and sugar for cooking are provided. The location is very convenient and amazing. Pubs, restaurants, grocery shops, sightseeing, and many more are right down the street. I really do recommend staying at Christie's Downtown Apartment. You will have an amazing time.

There are three flights of stairs with no elevator. You can mentally prepare for it if you read reviews before your arrival. For us, it was no trouble at all. I also read that people complain about the lack of a window view. You can use windows for letting fresh air into the flat, and as for the views, just go downstairs and enjoy the sights there. I do not think that there is anything bad I can say about this accommodation.
