Unable to get host to answer the door and no phone signal to call them Very few handy hints - we struggled to open shower door, lock front door and the lock box was ‘dodgy’ These are constructive criticisms

We like the bedroom/sitting area.

It was bit hard to find as directions given were inadequate. A simple address would have been fine - eg. No. 3 which was clearly marked. We were also unable to make telephone contact on the number given.

The location was perfect for exploring the ancient sites around and within Avebury. The accommodation was extremely well presented and despite other reviews suggesting the bed was not comfy I found it extremely comfy affording a good night's sleep. Excellent layout still meaning you can go upstairs to bed. Wonderful large TV which could be watched from the comfy sofa or bed. There was no noise audible inside the property from the A4 road and decent parking for your car safely inside the property boundaries. The owners were fast in responding to any querries before my trip and alythough i hardly met them on my stay I knew if needed they would be there. I prefer to self cater rather than eat out and the kitchen with is cooker, oven and microwave together with kettle and toaster meant I was able to cater well for myself. Would i go back? ---- Yes most definitely

I could have done with a grater and mentioned it to the owners who wll take action.
