Sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung, in zentraler aber dennoch ruhiger Lage. Ein Parkplatz war eher selten unmittelbar an der Wohnung zu finden, in der näheren Umgebung fand sich aber immer ein Platz für's Auto. Die Altstadt ist zu Fuß in 2 Minuten zu erreichen. Es gibt tolle Lokale und sehr gute Bäckereien. Die Atmosphäre in der Stadt empfanden wir sehr entspannt und kommen gerne wieder.

Rua estreita, mas não foi um problema.

Everything! Perfect localization to go to the beach without car. Comfortable, spacious and pleasant. Close to the center, bakeries, restaurants.

I liked the spaciousness of the apartment and that it was well equipped. The central location was great. Apart from some (quite penetrating) noise from building works close by on the first day, it was also very quiet. However, we were there in March before the start of the tourist season and it might be more noisy during the peak-tourist months. Possibly not, though, since it is tucked away in a small street, about five minutes away from the noisy parts of town. I also very much appreciated the host's (daughter's) generosity when we checked out too late on Sunday morning!

The directions to the property on booking.com were incorrect (the coordinates came up on google maps as a property in a different street with a different house number. Very close by but not the right building or street. I was at the given address exactly at the agreed check-in time of 17:00, but since the address was wrong, no-one was there to let me in. Since I do not have a mobile phone, and had no access to wi-fi, this presented me with quite a challenge. I did not appreciate the challenge, having been travelling since 5:30 that morning and since I do not speak Portuguese. But with some resourcefulness on my part, it all worked out well in the end.

Double bed is not the widest one ;)
