Apartment @ Booth Hall

Location was excellent and it was clean and well equipped and comfortable. However we couldn’t find the information pack which was mentioned and had an issue with both the hot water and using the TV ( it required an Amazon account, which we don’t have). As there were no instructions we didn’t know if it was possible to access channels any other way( that said we were not too concerned but others might be). We couldn’t get the hot water warm enough for a shower but we did get information that told us about boosting it but even then it was at best tepid. To be fair the lady we rang did offer to send someone round but we decided that we wanted to go out rather than wait in. We managed and it was ok but again if people are staying for longer this might be an issue. The other thing that happened was that we left the bedroom windows open and came back to find a pigeon in the living room( we had left the bedroom doors open!!!) Obviously we would advise others not to leave the windows open wide enough for this to happen( especially if they have a phobia !)

Great location, even though in the centre nice and quiet

No free parking

On the day of arrival we were given instructions of how to get to the apartment which were spot on. There’s no parking on site but again there was a list available on the email of car parks within walking distance. The apartment is on the second floor so we opted to bring smaller individual luggage to make it easier for us oldies to get it up the stairs. The location was spot on for us with shopping centres, supermarkets and all the attractions with walking distance so we didn’t need the car. The apartment is very spacious, well equipped, comfortable and lovely and clean & bright. We had a 3 night stay and were attending a family party.

Great location Clean and welcoming

It was so lovely, such a warm friendly vibe from the apartment, good facilities and quite striking to be inside with all the beams and exposed bricks. Really wonderful place. Very quiet also. Communal space very clean and well looked after too.

I’m not overly convinced the beds are full double beds as we seemed to have less bed space than usual but that might just be me. Also sofa not overly comfortable but it was good enough.

Location was great. Right in the middle of town. Two large double bedrooms. Big bathroom. Great kitchen with plenty of facilties

Nice comfortable apartment

Was freezing cold when we arrived. Fancy radiators with no instructions took some head scratching to get going, and it was a couple of hours before we were cosy. Heated towel rail in bathroom not working.
