We had such a relaxing time at See Akker Cottage. Everyone knows how busy Hermanus is over Dec/Jan holidays, yet See Akker Cottage is located in Sandbaai and is the perfect escape. Our four-year-old son loved exploring the garden (a sandpit and lots of treasures to be found!) and we enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen (electric hob and small oven) and large covered braai/entertainment area. A very convenient bonus was that wifi had a power backup during load-shedding (power outages). There is a restaurant as well as a local shop nearby (in case you don't feel like cooking or forgot something at home). Thank you Christelle & Andre for a very relaxing stay!

Ons het so warm verwelkoming gekry ons het dadelik tuis gevoel by See Akker. Ons is ontvang deur Christell en haar man soos familie. Alles was uitmuntend skoon en netjies. So gerieflik ingerig ons het niks kortgekom toe ons daar aankom nie. Die lekker beskuit en vrugte wat vir ons gewag het was n lekker verassing. Ons was vreeslik hartseer toe ons moes groet want dit was soos ons eie snoesige nessie by die see. Ek beveel See Akker enigetyd aan vir verblyf in Hermanus. Baie dankie Christell vir die heerlike kuier en vriendelikheid ons het nog nooit sulke gasvryheid ervaar waar ons gebly het nie. Julle is fantastiese mense. Sien julle spoedig weer. Louise en Danie

.Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Friendly neighborhood.

The shower water pressure was low. The kitchen could add bigger pots or pans for cooking. And an oven would be a good idea.
