"Feels like home"

Everything about on cloud 9 is very lovingly designed. Everything you need is there and Maureen even provides fresh milk and chocolate to welcome you. Maureen greeted us one evening with "Welcome Home" and that is exactly what it feels like at on cloud 9. The location is perfect. The apartment is on a quiet street and yet you can be in the city in a few minutes walk. The decor of the apartment and the garden is beautiful. We really felt at home and will definitely come again.

We absolutely loved our stay - the place was the best on our travels so far - so many thoughtful touches (including biscuits, fresh milk, lovely soap and shampoo). It is lovely and light and a really lovely place to stay. We were unfortunately ill when we were there and Maureen couldn’t have been more helpful and caring - getting us medicine and provisions and helping sort our next accommodation. Such lovely hosts! We also saw an eagle owl as we left which is a regular visitor to the garden - a bonus!

"Cozy, welcoming and so quaint!"

The cottage is snug, on a lovely property and so close to town! Our hosts were absolutely wonderful - there was so much attention to detail, little amenities to make your stay extra comfy and the cottages is FULLY equipped for load shedding, which was wonderful! Our little doggie was welcome to roam around the property and play with Maureen's dog, which felt so comfortable. The weather wasn't great, but On Cloud 9 made us feel snug, warm and we didn't even notice the weather! We had such a wonderful stay - just a great place to take your furry friend for a weekend away from the city. Amazing stay, wonderful hosts and just overall such a pleasant stay. We will definitely be back!!!

"Perfect Little Cottage in the heart of Hermanus"

Perfect Little Cottage for a small family in the heart of Hermanus - it feels like a home away from home. Besides the attention to detail (fresh milk, rusks, coffee and lavender flowers among a lot of other things) what makes this accommodation so special is the host Maureen with her hospitality and warm nature. Close to town by foot and all amenities near by - highly recommend!
