The cottage was very cozy and clean. The hosts made sure we had wood for the fire and coffee for early mornings. We enjoyed our short stay. The hosts were supper friendly and shared info on what you can do in Hogsback

Our stay at this beautiful cottage was absolutely magical! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning surroundings and the charm of the cottage. The cottage itself was perfectly equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. The attention to detail in every corner was evident, from the cozy furnishings to the thoughtful amenities provided. The views from the cottage were nothing short of breathtaking. Whether we were enjoying a morning coffee or watching the sunset, the landscape never ceased to amaze us. It was a serene and peaceful retreat, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. What made this experience even more special were our hosts, Christel and Pieter. They were incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Their warm hospitality made us feel like part of their family, and we truly appreciated all their recommendations for local spots to explore. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay. If you're looking for a place to unwind, relax, and immerse yourself in nature, this cottage is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

Peaceful setting. So close to nature. Feels like you are in the forest. We were able to view the Samango monkeys foraging in the trees. The cottage was so well supplied, clean, and comfortable. Our hosts were awesome 👌 We'll be back!

There was nothing we didn't like. The weather was unseasonably hot, so a floor fan would be a good addition to consider.

Very homely and welcoming. Lots of firewood supplies and a welcoming sherry plus other snacks. Beautiful soft water lovely for drinking and showing. Hot hot water at the turn of a tap. Beautiful walks in the forest. Hosts Christel and Pieter could not have been friendlier or more helpful.
