Had everything we needed, not far from the city centre

Very spacious property with on street parking (free) opposite. Rafa was very attentive when we had difficulty entry into complex with a defective key. Good location for walking into city. Great cafe opposite for breakfasts

Our host Rafa was very helpful and welcoming. He speaks English well and was excellent with communication before, during and after our stay. He met us on arrival and helped us park our hire car in the basement carpark (always a bit tricky in Spain but much easier at this apartment). Rafa showed us through the apartment and explained the operation of all the equipment (also not common in Spain and a real help if there is no documentation, or only in Spanish). He was also very helpful with advice and tips for visiting Cordoba and the area around the apartment. The apartment is large, spacious, modern and well equipped. There is a full kitchen with everything needed for self catering. The bathroom we used was modern, with good water pressure and temperature in the shower. Air con was very good and quiet. Our beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed quiet nights for sleep. The location is handy to a fairly big supermarket (Dia) less than 5 mins walk away across Plaza de Colon (Columbus), which has several cafes and tapas bars, all reasonably priced. The apartment is within 20 mins walk to the Mesquita and close to the start of a self-guided walk that includes Roman ruins and the must-see Palacio de Viana and Palacio La Merced. Alternatively, we could walk through the commercial centre (with the Roman theatre and lots of cafes and bars) to the old Jewish quarter or the centre of the old town.

Hard to find any dislikes about this apartment and host. The view from the living room balcony is to a small park and busy road, so not the best feature, but still pleasant to sit and have a drink at the end of a day. The entrance to the building is beside a fish shop, so the smell of seafood can be strong, but not a problem upstairs in the apartment.
