Cassandra’s Private Room Getaway Heart of Brooklyn

Cassandra was very kind. The shared bathroom was always clean and also they give you amenities as toothbrush, towels, soap. The bed was very comfortable and you have a coffee machine on the room

The bed was super comfortable, and the wifi was excellent! Cassandra is very sweet :)

The booking is listed as having the "entire apartment" but it is really just a small room. A nice room! But a small room. No kitchen or anything.

- Cassandra was very kind and responsive. - Room came with some travel essentials, snacks, and coffee. I didn’t use them, but it’s a nice touch. - Bed was comfortable, and the bedroom itself was clean. - Close to the L train. - Inexpensive.

- There is something off about the tenant you share a bathroom with. He watches TV for what I figured to be like 16 hours a day, audibly but kind of incoherently muttering over it. He doesn’t flush after peeing and there is something very wrong with his urine. I accidentally bumped his door open a crack with my bag getting into my room and as I was briefly apologizing, he made a grunt-bark noise and scurried to slam the door. I did not have any tangibly negative encounter with him, but he put me on edge. - The shared bathroom is not great. You have to sit on the toilet at an angle because of the positioning of the door, the shower takes some figuring, and I saw a couple half-inch brown banded cockroaches in the bathroom during my stay. They weren’t the huge awful ones, but it still wasn’t my favorite thing to see.

Cute room, very comfortable. Great location, close to subway. Cassandra was friendly and helpful. Everything you need is provided and overall this room is excellent value for New York. Free coffee is always good!

Shared bathroom, but never saw anyone else so not a problem at all.
