My Place

This was an excellent place to stay. With its own private entrance this apartment above the owners house worked really well. The owners came and said hello and were very friendly and offered any help we might need. There was a very cosy sitting area and the bed was comfortable. Great kitchen area with everything we needed. It is a little way out of town but only a few minutes drive. We went out to Hokitika gorge which was well worth the drive. Hokitika is a lovely little town and we enjoyed exploring. The greenstone exhibition at the museum was really interesting.

The stairs are quite steep which wasn't a problem for us but definitely something to be aware of.

Good sized apartment, kitchen had everything you could need. Living room was spacious with a handy desk area to do work. Apartment was very clean, can park right outside.

Short distance from town but no issue with a car.

Comfortable, roomy 1 bedroom apartment. Beautifully appointed including flowers, breakfast spreads etc
