Best Vacation Apartment in Budapest

Large apartment with everything needed, washing mashine conveniet to use, comfortable for 7 people, close to center.

Cockroach welcomed us in the bedroom. . Dirty floor, bathrooms not cleaned and maintained well, very old. You can use only one toilet which is shaking...the other one is clogged and not usable...Both showers clogged, water is leaking. Very noisy. Windows don't close well, some are broken and wind was coming through the window..

Pro: - very good location, exactly near New York Cafe and metro station - very spacious, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - communication with host was very good

- a bit noisy during night because of the central location

Everything was fine, we constantly communicated with the owner, he was very helpful. Everything is easily accessible by public transport.

Not clean

Location is perfect. Large apartment with evrything you need

We were with kids and floor was dirty. I had to vacume and wipe the floor. Everything else was clean(bed, bathroom etc.)

I rented this apartment for one night while traveling from Italy to Romania. This was supposed to be one restful night before continuing our journey, it turned out to be a nightmare because of our horrible host. On 1st of September at around 1PM I have sent the first message to her informing her of our arrival and asking for information on how to do the check in and park the car. It took her 3 hours to respond after I called her. The next message made no sense referring to some kind of mailbox, I said I did not understand what she was referring to, and she proceeded to explain (again I have contacted here on multiple devices, phone calls, messages etc, before I received any answer). She eventually gave us our check in info, but it took her again multiple hours to give us the parking info. We booked a parking nearby and when we reached Budapest she told me that she mistaken our group with another Romanian group and gave us the wrong details of the check in and that she would give me the correct ones. AND HERE SHE STOPPED Responding ALL TOGETHER!!!

She left 7 people in the middle of Budapest without their accommodation at 7PM. So we went and checked in to the apartment we got the information for. At 12Am in the middle of the night we met the other group. We were now 14 people in an apartment of 3 rooms and of course she did not have the courage to come meet us. The other group consisted of adults and small children. They arrived later because they tried contacting her as well, but she did not answer the phone for many hours. They were accompanied by an old man, which I believe is related to her or has some kind of connection, as she answered the phone to him only. When I noticed the old man speaking on the phone, I knew exactly to whom he was speaking, proceeded to take the phone and called her names as I am sure all of us would do in this situation. She said she would call the police which she did not (I truly believe she does not declare any income out of this business). In all this madness, the other group with the kids rented hotel rooms, and we spent the night here. She also mentioned on the phone that she contacted Booking to cancel our reservation, but it remained confirmed to this day. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND REPORT HER!!! She is the most horrible person I have ever met, she does not give the information for your check in, if she do you will get the wrong info, she will not answer the phone for ages and chances are she overbooks the apartments!

Very centrally located, right next to tram and metro facilities, close to shops and bars, Lidl is only next door. Very Spacious Apt, great for families, lots of personal space. comfy beds, great communication with host.

Air conditioning only worked properly in the kitchen area, didn’t work in the bedrooms, we all found it very difficult to sleep (mid july) with the heat with no air conditioning. In the two of the front bedrooms the curtain didn’t fit the whole window so there was a lot of light coming in all night. It’s a busy street so lots of sirens and flashing lights coming through window.

The position of the apartment is very good, right next to the New York Cafe. The host was also very nice and communicative
