Atalaya de Fornells

Perfecto apartamento para disfrutar de la isla. Eramos 6 personas. Suficientes camas y habitaciones para estar cómodos. La comunicación es fácil y sencilla. Todo limpio y preparado cuando llegamos. Todas las habitaciones tienen aire acondicionado además de ventiladores de techo. Volvería a quedarme sin dudarlo.

Hay que tener en cuenta que el apartamento solo tiene un baño. Para nosotros no fue un problema, pero es algo a considerar si se alojan muchas personas.

The flat is overall very good. It is in an excellent location and has been refurbished recently, everything seems new and is spotless (except the sofa). There are 3 "real" bedrooms for a total of 5 persons, and each bedroom has ample storage space. The kitchen has everything you need, and there was even bottles of water and a bottle of fizzy wine in the fridge! There is plenty of hot water and air conditionning in every room except the bathroom. We used it to heat the place as it was rather cold and humid when we were there (early April).

The main negative point is the lack of clothes/towels drying facility. There is a total of 2 hooks in the whole flat, and they are in the shower, so no chance to dry the towels there and we ended up using damp towels from the second shower onwards. There is a small clothes rack which accomodates either 3 towels or half a washing machine load, I used the washing machine on day 2 and 3 days later the clothes were still humid, I had to hang them in a bedroom and put the heating at the maximum to get them dry. There is no heated towel rack, also there used to be a washer-dryer but now it is only a washing machine. I imagine that in summer the problem is less acute but still, there is some work to be done there. Other negative point: the sofa smells dirty. It does not look it at all, and there is a plaid on it, but the smell is there which is not that inviting.

Convenient and comfortable with a lot of space! The 2 rooms we used had A/C which was great for summer!

We loved the location of being in the middle of the old street of town - Carrer Major! The supermarket was next store as was the 2 best restaurants in town. The host was extremely helpful and had a great sense of humour.
