Executive Modern Apartment

The apartment is lovely, a really good size for a studio and well decorated and equipped for a short stay. It’s well maintained and super clean - the washer/drier is very convenient and we were lucky enough to make use of it. It’s in a lovely complex in a really nice area in Four Ways that has a lot of security so you always feel safe. There are some lovely restaurants nearby and a mall for any last minute purchases.

I’ve stayed in another place with the same host before and received stellar service but this time it was very hard to get in touch - not sure if it’s because I stayed on a weekend so they were busy. The internet was a sketchy in the beginning and eventually stopped working altogether and received zero feedback until I escalated the problem with booking.com who were kind enough to give me some travel credit. It was a little tricky as my husband had to work so we had to figure out getting more data and tethering from his phone - this is a little complicated when you’re an international traveler. It seems you’re only limited to four entries and exits (which can be a little complicated if there’s two of you doing different things during the day) so you have to get friendly with the security guards so they can allow entry/exit beyond the prescribed four. I personally wouldn’t stay again based on the limited assistance from the host who seemed inconvenienced by assisting us.

it would have been better with on access code that would last for the whole duration of my stay, in stead of having to wait each morning for new codes to be able it exit and enter the property area

Got a good price for 3 nights stay

Because of power cuts in SA, all the kids from the other apartments are out and playing. Its really noisy at times. Kitchen exhaust fan wasn't plugged into the socket as it's not compatible. Cooking is not a good idea as its a studio apartment.
