Waterside Apartment

The view and location on the beach was amazing and lay out of apartment was comfy.. A friendly and pleasant reception from Tracy on arrival and departure. Easy check-in The sound of the beach and lovely big windows give you uninterrupted views , better then expected Safe .Apartment location was superb. Overall amzing stay

Can do with better housekeeping , host said that she will certainly sort out. perhaps give guests the option of having the apartment serviced daily. Outside Grill (,braai stand )was dirty, bathrooms were dirty ,Linen on beds were smelly

Host Tracy was quick to respond to queries. and very friendly. Chargeable lights available for loadshedding. Plus wifi worked during loadshedding. No nearby neighbours one side an absent neighbours other side made for a very private and quiet stay.

Kettle should have been descaled as the water there is lime heavy. Perhaps an easier to use emergency gas cooker.

If you want to be close to the sea, it doesn’t get any better than this.

The view is exceptional. You can see and hear the sea from the accommodation, and it is mesmerizing. We sighted several whales from the balcony, and the sunsets over the sea were exquisite. You are steps away from a lovely pathway along the coast with rock pools, and a beach area not far away. The beds are very comfortable (you can also watch the ocean as you lie in bed - both rooms). Handy, pre-charged torches for loadshedding. Full DSTV and free wi-fi. Gansbaai is 5 minutes away in the car for shops, restaurants, etc, and easy access to Hermanus, Stanford, Franskraal and Pearly beach.

The accommodation is very stylish and clean but the lounge would benefit from more comfortable seating and side tables. The bedrooms lacked mirrors - full length mirrors would have been very useful.There were a few minor issues such as the balcony door being stiff to open, the front door bottom seal catching as you closed the door, the fridge door didn't close easily and the toilet roll holder in the bathroom was wobbly.

Beautiful views. The apartment has everything you need. It's just stunning!

The location right on the ocean shore

The very steep spiral staircase to enter and exit apartment. There were steps around the outside of the unit but not very convenient.Should be hilighted in the description.
