They hot tub was very relaxing this will not be my last time

A beautiful respite from city life. Serene and refreshing. Superb accomodation with everything we needed.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

The getaway was just what we needed. A quiet and secluded retreat. The area was green and lush and the host communicated with us in a welcoming manner. The home was comfortable, and had all the essentials, with some lovely risks, coffee and tea with milk and some bottled water to welcome us. The home is a blend of modern and cottage and nice and clean. The patio area was where we spent most of our time, enjoying the fireplace, and the hot tub to unwind. The complimentary wood was also a nice touch and the cottage was prepared with spray for the evening visitors. The bedding was clean, with towels and extra blankets provided. We even got an opportunity to visit the nearest wine farm for a tasting which was delightful. The area despite the seclusion was safe and there is a lovely trail behind the house to enjoy. And of course being in nature we had some visitors the frogs and shongolo's. Thankfully they respected our space and just meandered around doing their thing. The wifi is not strong however we didn't mind it as we were getting away to pause and reset, this may be resolved by having a wifi link in the lounge area for guest that needs a strong connection however didn't concern us.

A travellers tip (No reflection on the host) is to follow their directions, unless you have a 4x4 and don't mind a +- 35 to 45 km on a gravel road when traveling through Caledon. Had we followed the instructions given we would have had 5 or 6km on the gravel road.

No cell signal but wifi worked during loadshedding
