Vale View Barn

It was in character of what it used to be. It was modern, comfortable and a good outlay.

Bedroom main light, one bulb not working, and one kept flickering, had to turn it off in the end and use bedside lights.

The view and location

This place had everything we needed. The owners are incredibly helpful and friendly.

The Vale View Barn was a lovely little get away in the country. It was so peaceful and the views of the vale were so lovely to wake up to and at sunset. The barn was so cozy and comfortable. We had everything we needed (and didn’t even know we needed!) for our stay thanks to Jeff. He was an excellent host. The only thing to be mindful of is that the cottage is quite remote. I would suggest having a car as getting around to surrounding towns using cabs/transit can be tricky. But if you’re looking for a lovely rural getaway, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Also the cute puppies were an added bonus :)

Lovely accommodation, private and not overlooked. Was lovely to come outside in the morning overlooking fields of sheep.

We stayed at Vale View Barn for a wedding in the local area and it was perfect. Great (and very scenic) location, very nice space inside (clearly renovated and maintained with a lot of care), including a very comfy bed; and lovely attentive hosts. Couldn’t really ask for more!
