apartment in great location

We were a family of 6 who stayed at this flat in Merihaka location. From Merihaka bus stop, there is direct bus connectivity to the railway station and city centre. The location is excellent - very close to city centre yet away from all the touristic hustles and noises. This location is surrounded by waterfront on three of its sides. The flat had all the facilities one can think of (well equipped kitchen, washing machine, balcony, TV, etc) alongwith a strong wifi network. The flat offered a good price-performance ratio.

The flat needs a bit of cleaning and renovation however, this is not something that is major. We really enjoyed our stay.

The entire apartment seemed used and worn, and the place could use a good cleaning.

great host service, very friendly, always in touch. we had very late check in, the host gave us super clear instructions so all went very smoothly

Mos furniture is damaged, in some cases even dangerous

The location itself was ok. Getting there with heavy bags and a family was challenging. The neighbourhood did not feel great. The building is a bit rundown, as was the apartment. Photos online were of a much higher standard. The hosts were very good at communicating.

The general upkeep of the apartment could have been better. The kitchen cupboards were damaged, the apartment needed a clean and a paint. A kitchen chair was broken.
