The area: Not too far from Ioannina, about 15 min drive. Very reasonable and affordable place. Very quiet and peaceful area. The house: Recently renovated, clean, modern, comfortable. Large back yard with outdoor kitchen (which we didn’t get a chance to use). Plenty of amenities and hot water. The small basketball court came in very useful. Our kids had a great time. The host: Sofia is great! She is super responsive and very attentive. She had cookies from her bakery waiting for us and brought us specialty cookies that they made the following day. Sofia and her family are very quiet, we didn’t even notice them.

The area: It’s a bit remote and out of the way if you’re looking to explore the Tzoumerka region. Most attractions are 1.5 - 2 hours drive. The house: The apartment is located on the lower level of Sofia’s house. The apartment has a bit of a damp and musty smell to it, which got better once we had the windows open for a few hours. Depends how sensitive you are to these things. The TV doesn’t really work (but it’s not a big deal for us). The internet tends to be spotty and weak. The radiator heating stopped working at some point, so we used the one A/C in the living room for heat. It wasn’t very cold at the time so it was fine for us.

We had a great time. Sofia hospitality was perfect with good advices and taking care to all of our needs. The apartment was very clean, well organized, kitchen fully equipped and pretty new bathroom.

Adding a dishwasher would be a great upgrade for families that have a long stay

Modern, fully equipped, very clean and neat apartment, ideal for a family of five. Sofia, the host is very nice, she treated us with freshly baked cookies and gave us advices about the best places of the area. Our best accomodation in Greece so far, I strongly recommend.

The host is very very accommodating and helpful. We felt at home here. The apartment itself was by far my favourite stay in all of Greece. Loved the kitchen and the space overall. It was located outside of Ioannina, but I would stay again despite this factor.

I know beds are relative, but we found the main mattress to be too soft for our backs. But there are other beds you can sleep in. We couldn't always get the water to go from warm-hot to the desired hot (but unfortunately this is very common in Greece).

Wonderful place. New house, spacious rooms furnished with taste. Large yard, shed and barbecue. Away from the noise of the city. The host is very polite. He welcomed us with a full bowl of cookies and welcome water. I recommend!
