Very comfortable and great location!

Can’t think of a thing

The location is ideal: it's within the town center; has many parking options; overlooks a carefully maintained garden and historic site; lies within easy walking distance to trails, Jedburgh Abbey, the Co-op grocery and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and well-furnished. For some, the only difficulty may be the steep flight of stairs up to the apartment. The building houses at least one permanent resident on the floor below, but I experienced no difficulties with noise, cooking odors, etc. The owner, Steve, even reached out to me by phone to make certain that I was comfortably settled and had every item and all information that I would need for an enjoyable stay.

At first, I was nervous about the building's entry door that was left open to the street during daytime. But I realized that this helped to ventilate the shared corridor and stairwell on warm days. And of course the apartment had its own bolted lock. In fact, my mild apprehension proved fully unwarranted and I soon felt entirely safe and totally comfortable in these environs.

Step to get into the property but that cannot be helped.

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable appartment. Great care is given to details with nice touches like abundant tea and coffee, fresh milk in the fridge and a well equipped kitchen.Jedburgh is an excellent place to be based to explore the Borders. We really enjoyed our stay.
