Efrosini downtown apartment

The location of the property was very good, we had problems with parking but that was solved as there was public parking around €5 for 8 hrs.

The kitchen should be better equipped, no kettle, proper cutting knife or scissors and kitchen cloth. These were missing.

Close to main area of town

There was no mattress, you are sleeping on a box spring. The wi-fi network given did not exist. It wasn’t on the network list on my phone and it could not be found by manually adding it either and we tried on 4 devices. Tried contacting the property but they did not respond. The towels very clearly were dirty. The owner said it would take 20 minutes for hot water after flipping the switch but after waiting 50 minutes and it still being cold, we ended up going to bed without showering. The plastic piping in back of the bathroom sink had a crack so water started pooling all over the bathroom floor so that sink was unusable. The lamp was broken so couldn’t use that and the tong from the lamp was stuck in the outlet so couldn’t use the outlet either. Incredibly difficult to find parking near that area. I tried for over 3 weeks after my stay to contact the hotel and Bookings.com and the property would not respond to me or to Bookings.com

Clean, nice bed

Internet issues all the time, bathroom very small. Internet was a real issue for me who had to work. Seems you share the connection with the whole building....for this price you need good internet at least.

Centrally located with many choices for shopping, food, coffee, etc. Polite host and big enough place to enjoy time in Chalkis even for week. Clean and comfy.

The bathroom is a bit "tight". And I think 50+ Euros for this apartment-room is a bit overrated. But what isn't these days?

No bedside tables, no bottle of water

Excellent, central location and easy to cook. Also easy to communicate with the host.

The hot water was a bit fiddly. We would turn it in but it wouldn't stay hot for long.
