Heays Lane Cottage

We stayed here for two nights as part of a 4 week long trip to South Island. The cottage was perfect and we loved it, especially the pretty little garden. We had everything we needed and the hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely the best accommodation of our trip so far.

Everything was fantastic

Loved this property, with its little garden; it was so cosy and pretty. The owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Ideal base for if you want to go on whale/ dolphin trips. Lovely location, with the beach across the road.

There was alot to like. A pretty and private garden for our use. With table and sun lounger. A large bedroom and separate large lounge. Toilet separate to shower room also useful. Furnishings good quality.

Nothing to not like.

Very friendly hosts. A lovely little cottage that had everything you needed. Was walking distance to the town center and restaurants with the beach directly opposite the accommodation.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable but didn't lose too much sleep over it.

Perfect wee cottage in the perfect location. Wonderful hosts, own private garden, will be back.

It was such a cosy and clean place in a perfect location. Lovely host as well, can highly recommend, we enjoyed every minute of our holiday!!

Very clean,neat,tidy. Near the beach, quiet, loved the garden setting. The bed was very comfortable……small kitchen but ok to work in. Friendly owner with local knowledge.

It was a separate building with a lovely garden for us.

There was no downside.

Located down a driveway across the road from the waterfront.

Advertised as a cottage but in reality is a converted garage with some internal steps between the kitchen and bedroom. Also steps at the entrance door. People with disabilities may find this difficult.
