Lovely Meteora Home

Το διαμέρισμα ήταν άριστο από όλες τις απόψεις. Σε πολύ καλό σημείο με άνετο πάρκινγ και 10 λεπτά περπάτημα από το κέντρο. Πεντακάθαρο με όλες τις παροχές και δώρο και πρωίνό να μας περιμένει! Θα το ξανά προτιμήσουμε σίγουρα στο μέλλον.

I was very pleased whit the location,cleanliness and the overall everything. My family whas very happy whit the apartment and the place. Very beautiful view also. We will definitely come back :)

Location is easy to reach by car, somewhat quiet area, close to the center (by car) and convenient in general. All the facilities were working great, really nothing else to wish for. The hosts made our stay as good as they could.

Two minor things: the house is located on a large and not very picturesque street (but that was expected). And the shower is actually a sitting bath, but the shower column (which is great) is fixed to the wall, so for some of the people the stream's too high (and they have to step up to the narrow seat of the bath) and for some it's OK :) I'd make this into a regular shower, that would be easier to work with.

J’ai adoré l’appartement. Pour moi c’est un 11/10! La vue sur les météores sur une chouette petite terrasse, le calme car retiré du centre de Kalabaka. Une propreté remarquable. Lits super confortable. Et alors les hôtes qui sont adorables, très réactifs, aux pts soins et reçu avec un petit déjeuné ❤️ ça c’est la Grèce 💙🇬🇷🥰 un énorme merci, je recommande à 2000%

We had an amazing stay and truly didn’t want to leave! The apartment was spotless, spacious, and extremely well-organized. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. It’s perfect for 5–6 people. The comfortable pull-out couch can easily accommodate two kids, making it ideal for families. The location is perfect, just a few minutes’ walk to the city center, with parking available right in front of the building. From the moment we arrived, we felt the warmth of true Greek hospitality. The host was kind, responsive, and accommodating. She also generously stocked the fridge with eggs, toast bread, ham, and cheese for breakfast. To top it all off, the view from the balcony was outstanding! We highly recommend this place and hope to return one day!

The apartment was specious well designed and equiped and very clean. It felt like home away from home and this is really important for family travelers.

This is a continuation of a review from yesterday which I sent accidentally before completing it. We stayed 4 nights in mid-March 2025. The apartment is on the outer edge of Kalambaka old town and is accessible by wide stairs up 1 story from the ground. We received clear instructions on finding and accessing the apartment; parking was on street and easy during our stay. There’s a children’s park right in front of the property which would be good for families traveling with kids. There are balconies in front and back of the unit. The balcony in front (off the kitchen) faces the main road and is exposed to passersby but the balcony in the back (off the bedrooms) was private. As others have noted, the first impression was a bit sketchy as the home’s 3 abutting neighbors were all partially completed homes that gave an impression of being abandoned. As it turned out, the location is perfectly safe and is the apartment’s greatest strength in our final analysis. During our stay, we hired Meteora Phototours for a private guided photography tour to show us the best photo spots, hiking trails, and lessons in techniques and photo composition. Our guide grew up in this neighborhood and his parents still live right around the corner from the apartment and he assured us the neighborhood is perfectly safe so do not be put off by this first impression. The apartment is clean and the heating was responsive and the hot water quick and reliable. The host cheered up the space with fresh flowers. The beds and couches were very comfortable, kitchen is well amenitized, and there’s a fantastic washer/dryer combo. Given the unpredictability of March weather in Meteora where rains could make your clothes muddy and slow to dry, having an effective washer and dryer was very helpful. The kind hostess provided bread, ham, cheese, eggs, jam and butter, coffee and tea, as well as yummy KitKat style chocolate covered wafer candy bars for snacking.

The only thing of note is the tub/shower combination. While the spray is strong and the temperature consistent, the tub is probably under 4’ wide with a built in raised seat. This reduced the space where you can comfortably stand to get a shower. We slipped a couple of times both during the shower and upon exiting the tall tub after our shower on our first night but eventually we adapted.

Thank you for such a lovely stay! The apartment was very clean, warm and had everything needed to prepare a breakfast, make a coffee and enjoy the evening. The host shared the directions to have an easy access, self check in and free breakfast. Totally recommend🙂
