Traditional Antique Deco House

Traditional room decoration is very nice and furnitures are esquisite. Beautiful small yard with blooming trees and the view to the Meteora Monastery is just awesome. The hosts, grandpa and grandma, are so sincere and kind to us which make us feel like we are at home.

The house was very unique and charming. It has an amazing location and the owners Grandma was very sweet and welcoming.

I had a lovely time at the Antique Art Deco Villa. It's in a great location under the beautiful Meteora mountains. The house is clean and spacious with three bedrooms. What makes it special is that the 84-year-old owner crafted most of the furniture himself, and his wife hand-embroidered the tablecloths, sheets, and decorations. The couple themselves, although they don't speak English, are the epitome of warmth and friendliness. We used hand signals and Google Translate to communicate, and it was a heartwarming experience. We even learned some Greek words from them, which was a nice bonus. This place is a hidden treasure!

The apartment is furnished with excellently preserved wood carved furniture, decorated with great attention to every detail. The hosts who live on the ground floor were very nice elderly couple, friendly and welcoming. Great view on the Meteora mountains from the balcony.

The rental space is a separate apartment on the second floor of a house with an yard. All the furniture has been made by the elderly father of the rentier and there are some unique pieces with carvings and artwork. The style of the whole house is in the mid XX Century, it is immaculately clean and well thought-of. Actually out of 4 rentals in 4 different cities this one showed the host most understanding the needs and psychology of travellers. There were fruit and water bottles in the fridge, as well as basic food for breakfast. The location is just beyond the rocks, the beginning of the walking trail to Agias Triadas is just in front of the house. The hosts provide a parking place in the street. The elderly couple are extremely polite and kind-hearted.

The only stress we had was that we were coming on a Sunday afternoon and the rentier was not picking up our calls, and we had no second option to stay. We simply reached the address and a neighbour showed us the way. The elderly gentleman spoke Russian, and this saved the day. That is the only language they know, apart from Greek. My advice is - simply reach the address and you will be met and shown the apartment and parking place.
