The reason we downscaled the location was because the room was next door to a night club and on the weekend, and the Monday played loud music from 11;30 pm to 07:00am. This was not mentioned in the booking details, and to be honestly we would not have booked if known. Bedding. Waste and towels were not changed during the stay of 5 nights. This could improve longer stays.

For a studio this is a decent size and the large terrace with table and chairs is the best aspect, although there are plenty of trees between you and the water, so “sea-view” is a slight stretch. However, even though you are not street-side, this is a noisy location near a parking lot and children’s play area that will become noisier once the restaurant downstairs has finished renovations and reopens. So not the place for people sensitive to noise. I’ve stayed at several studio apartments across Greece and this place was the worst provisioned. For a 6-night stay we were provided with only 1 spare bin bag in the bathroom and kitchen (unacceptable given that all toilet paper goes into the bin and it needs to be emptied daily); only 1 set of towels each; only 1 small kitchen towel; no towels racks anywhere - no towel rails in the bathroom, no large drying rack outside - even though there is plenty of space for one; just one very small one hooked onto the wall, not big enough for towels; no kettle (tea/coffee maker is just a coffee maker, it doesn’t heat water enough to make black tea); no toaster (a hot sandwich maker, which warms bread but doesn’t toast it). No knives suitable for cutting vegetables or bread; dish detergent was watered down and soon ran out (really?!!); bathroom fan not working; hall light not working; small olive tree on terrace is suffering neglect and an insect infestation…. I could go on!

Location was right on the sea strip.

Several issues: the bathroom needs significant upgrade (shower head was loose, bathroom fan didn’t work, toilet cover doesn’t stay up, and shower gets the entire bathroom wet); an emergency light near the door never turns off, we had to cover with a T-shirt; there was no kettle in the kitchen, despite being listed on the website; most significantly, the bar across the street plays incredibly loud music late into the night. Without exaggeration, with the windows and shutters closed, it still felt like we were in the bar. Impossible to sleep. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place.

The bed was superb - one of the very best we have experienced. I know it's entirely subjective but it really was excellent.

The extractor fan did not function - I reported it to the host but did not receive a reply. The hot water pressure in the kitchen was extremely poor - but it was excellent in the neighbouring bathroom (I'm sure they could easily resolve this). There was no kettle for making tea or instant coffee (in all fairness they didn't promise one, but I don't really see how you can make tea without boiling water). We had to boil water in a saucepan on a very small stove top and it just was not what one would expect. I would also suggest that the host considers investing in a 'smart' TV. It would then be possible to view programming in a language other than Greek - just a suggestion and not a criticism.

Booking.com pin was different from Hosts Pin number which caused some distress

Water heater for the shower is too small and couldn't provide for two showers consecutively, the water heater was also switched off on arrival so had to wait for the water to heat up. even the next morning after being on all night there was still insufficient hot water for two showers. The road noise is quite significant too, perhaps if you are booking this apartment you should choose the sea view apartment which is away from the road. Totally insufficient heating in the apartment (it was unusually cold when we visited) the AC unit just could not cope.
