Stay here is a real win for those who are looking a quiet place, privacy, proximity to the sea and some climbing sectors. We were really satisfied. Upon arrival we were greeted by owner´s grandmother Sylvie (she lives in the same house), she supplied us with fresh fruit and baked for us local "donuts", thank you very much Sylvie. We stayed in two apartments and the misunderstanding with extra beds we resolved quite quickly with the owner (Sylvie's granddaughter). The apartments are adequately equipped including a very good Wifi signal, there are plenty of extra towels, sheets, toilet papers, bin bags and cleaning supplies. We did our own cleaning of the apartments and rubbish removal as we needed it. The larger apartment (for 4 people) has air conditioning in both bedrooms, the other has air conditioning in the kitchen ( cold air can flow into one bedroom through a "hole" in the wall below the ceiling). The kitchen is equipped with basic dishes, toaster, coffee maker, waffle maker, hot air electric griddle, two burner stove and kettle. There is also a really big fridge and a smaller freezer, so we did shopping at a supermarket (8 km away) only three times in a twelve day stay. We often use the garden gazebo or the terrace in front of the apartments to spend time with friends. The sea is only a few steps away (through a nicely maintained garden) which was especially appreciated by our children. For a stay here it is advisable to rent a car or scooter, especially if you want to go to Masouri, Pothia or to more distant places on the island and you have to take into account the steeper road to the apartments (but for an experienced driver it is not a problem), access is only available to guests through an electronically controlled gate. Drinking water was provided from the spring under the nearby plane tree in Skalia and it is also possible to visit the local restaurant Maria here. I can only recommend a stay here.

I would only add 1-2 cloth tea towels and at least 1-2 more sharp kitchen knives to the kitchen. maybe clean the drain in the shower - the water drains badly and very slowly.
