Nice apartment, rural idyll just outside Karlstad

Mooie ruime Stuga de serre was heerlijk om in te relaxen. In het buitengebied maar toch goed goed te fietsen naar Karlstad.

Heerlijk verblijf met privacy en prachtig uitzicht! Heel positief verrast.

Wir haben 3 Nächte in der schönen Unterkunft direkt am Getreidefeld verbracht. Die Lage ist ruhig, aber mit dem Auto ist man schnell in der City. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, hat eine gute Größe, neue technische Geräte und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Bei der An-/Abreise muss man die Betten selbst be- und abziehen und die Schlafcouch selbst aufbauen, obwohl bekannt war, dass wir mit 4 Personen anreisen. Nach einer langen Fahrt und mit kleinen Kindern stellt man sich die Ankunft in einer Ferienwohnung entspannter vor. Außerdem war das Bad leider von den vorherigen Gästen nicht geputzt. Darauf angesprochen waren die Vermieter jedoch entgegenkommend. Die Wohnung lässt sich nicht verdunkeln und es bleibt im Sommer nachts sehr hell.

Value for money. Comfortable and clean. Small for more than a couple but did work for the three of us. Loved the conservatory, spent most of the limited time we had in there.

Bed not made up. The sofa bed I could understand but the double bed not being made seemed strange. Not something you want to deal with at 2030 at night after a long day travelling. Coming straight out of the bedroom into the sitting room where the double bed was. We were 3 adults, so inconvenient and there were insufficient pictures in the ad to show this.

The property could be further improved by having a handrail by the outside steps to make it easier to enter and exit especially if the wooden steps are slippery due to rain, frost or ice.

Spacious, clean, private and very comfortable.

Beautiful rural location, but still only a 15 minute drive from the city of Karlstad. The apartment has everything you could possibly need, and everything in there is of a very high standard. The hosts were very quick to communicate with and were very pleasant.

The only issue I faced was the heating. It was particularly cold when I visited and the heating wasn't quite sufficient to warm the apartment. Fortunately, Ingaled and her husband were quick to supply an additional portable heater, which sorted the issue.
