Kenroku Haitsu 101

Provided bikes for us so we could get around the city easily. This was a major perk. The traditional beds and tatami floor was also great.

Quite grubby and needed a thorough clean.

Nice experience in sleeping on a futon in a room of tatami. The room is a miniature apartement (with an equiped kitchen). Good service overall. Quite cheap.

Quite far from JR line station. Shower's floor is incorporated with the bathroom's (+ toilet) floor. -> I really dislike the humidity that accumulates or the fact that the floor can be wet while using toilets. There is not large space except in the entry nearby kitchen to open our cabin suitcases. Curtains not thick enough to fully block the light -> but it seems to be always like that in Japan (and I am not used to it) Sound isolation is not the best (weaker than in Europe) -> but it seems to be always like that in Japan (and I am not used to it)

The location was great! best part about the property

It was a decent place for two people, not so far from the center. Small but it had what we needed.

We think that there was a problem with the toilet seat as we found pee on the floor a few times although we were careful.
