Karapiro BlackBox

Great condo, perfect for staying in the area if you've done the Hobbiton Tour or the Rotorua White Water Rafting. The condo had good internet and was very clean, everything looked new. We used the washer, it was pretty straightforward. Had to access the condo through Cambridge which was about a 10 minute detour because the Karapiro dam road was closed, but not a big deal. Cambridge has a grocery store and a good little bbq place so it was perfect.

Breakfast was a simple yogurt and granola with fruit and fresh homemade bread. It was left for us in the refrigerator and enough to last for the 2 mornings we were there. The hostess was very helpful with driving directions before arrival. She was also helpful in bicycle rental recommendations near by. The Views of the Lake were fabulous!

Everything was wonderful, however a couple tips: Open up the home before arrival to cool the interior, or turn on the A/C before arrival. It would be helpful to have some drawer space, for longer stays. Or, some place to put a suitcase?

The views were stunning

The location is 10km away from Cambridge , but the surroundings were from a fairy tale. Green hills and a lake in between. Best place I have ever stayed at.

Amazing peaceful location with stunning views. Cute, comfortable place to stay. Owners were lovely to deal with and made us feel right at home. Would definitely come back

Great service from the host Jude. She's been very accommodating and offered us prompt assistance during our two nights' stay. The location is very secret with a great view!

There is only one aircon in the living area so it was quite cold at night. The host probably should consider installing another one in the bedroom

Location suited - close to Friends and not far to Mystery Creek Fieldays Loved the outlook over Lake Karapiro Host, Jude, was super welcoming and had fresh, warm bread waiting for our arrival - yummy!

All suited us perfectly Only comment could be just a little more seating to watch TV, but we weren't all in long enough to worry us, but could have for a different group 😉
