Two apartments near the sea

Exceptional. The hosts thought of everything you would need for a comfortable stay.

Good location, clean

We stayed there for one night. The apartment was clean and spacious with a large terrace, well-equipped, and located in a quiet area. Comfortable beds. Grocery store, beach, bars, and a beautiful church are within a 5-minute walk. Very hospitable hosts!

We loved everything about this apartment. It is very spacious and has everything you need.

Its location is what appealed to us most about this lovely, large apartment on the top (2nd) floor of our friendly host's property in the quiet residential area of Kastel Luksic. It's a very short transfer from Split airport (15 minutes by car, 25 minutes by public bus), and a few hundred meters from the sea, some nice shingle beaches, and spectacular seaside walkways. It's also a short walk from the route 37 bus stops that you can use to go to either the airport (in 20 minutes) or Trogir (in 30 minutes) in one direction, or to Split (in 45 minutes) in the other direction. Both Split and Trogir are World Heritage sites, so another advantage of staying a relatively short distance away from them is that you don't have to pay World Heritage prices for food, drink and accommodation, nor to queue to access them. You also get to experience how the locals, rather than your fellow tourists, live. There are plenty of supermarkets, cafe-bars and fastfood outlets in the neighborhood, but you have to take one of those spectacular coastal walks over to Kastel Stari or Kastel Novi to find a good selection of restaurants, a couple of kilometers away. This was no issue for us because we like to walk before and after our main meals. (You could also use the route 37 bus to shorten the journey.) The modern-style, 2-bedroom apartment itself is spacious, tastefully decorated, and very well equipped (e.g. complete with dishwasher, washing machine, large flatscreen TV, and free fast Wifi), and was spotlessly clean. It has a large, private, south-facing balcony that offers a garden view and glimpses of the sea. The main living area and one of the two bedrooms have air-conditioning (which we didn't need to use during our stay in mid May). We slept in the air-conditioned bedroom which had dual-aspect windows, plenty of storage, and a comfortable, queen-sized double bed.

Although this didn't bother us in the slightest, people with mobility limitations need to be aware that this apartment is only accessible by stairway (albeit a wide, marble one) and the bathroom has a combined bath-shower.

Everything has exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend this place. Very clean apartments, kitchen equipped with all you need for cooking. Huge terrace with nice view to the mountains. I’ve never seen such friendly and helpful hosts. We really enjoy our stay there and definitely will come back if we are in Kastela. Thanks a lot for everything!
