Cosy Countryside Log Cabin

Everything was spot on. It certainly was cosy and everything you needed was there.

It had a little kitchenette that let us cook food, location wise it was about 15-20 mins from Kilkenny town centre but it was good because it was a bit more private, plenty of space and had everything we needed! Breakfast was also available which was really kind!

The Internet connection wasn’t too strong inside the cabin but this didn’t really affect our stay! There was signal close to the window or outside!

Lovely hosts and very comfy cabin!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful self-catering cottage. The host and hostess were incredibly warm and considerate, and made sure that their dogs never disturbed us. The cottage is ideal for couples or a small family like ours (we're a family of three), with a quiet setting and a nice garden. It's within easy reach of Kilkenny city and shopping options in Callan, but you do need a car to get around.

The kitchen is quite small — suitable for preparing breakfast, but not for cooking larger meals. WiFi and mobile coverage are limited, which makes it a great place for a digital detox. While the area is quiet, there aren’t any nature trails nearby that are away from road traffic. Still, it was a relaxing and enjoyable retreat!

The log cabin was a lovely environment and it has a very homely feel to it for me and my fiance and the owners Kathleen and john were absolutely brilliant host and couldn't recommend anyone better
