Colors on White

The pool has a waterfall and is secluded on the property with a gate and big palm trees. It was the highlight of our trip to relax and cool down from the heat. The ocean had a horrible smell with toxic seaweed that made the beach unbearable. The hotel has a mini apartment layout with a one bedroom air conditioner and ceiling fan. the living space has a day bed/couch and its own air conditioner and ceiling fan. The bathroom was clean, soaps and shampoo are fragrant, and extra pool towels are provided. There is free parking (with a pass) on the property. Great place all around with its convenient location to walk to Doval Steet, cafes, both beaches on each side of the island.

It is a little challenging to get parked, pull out , etc on Duval St at that time of day when picking up the keys.

Aside from my room being just feet from the parking lot and a dance studio, it was away from the noise/traffic of Duval Street.

The very late check in time. Arriving at 11:30 AM to check in, I was told i would receive a text when it was ready. After 4 1/2 hours I returned to check in and was told it was ready. However, when I arrived at the room it STILL wasn’t ready. The tile on the pool looked dirty and there was little room for lounge chairs. Only 3. I was hesitant to plug things into the broken, oddly placed electrical outlets. The front door had visible gaps around it.
