Vila Tea

Arrivé en Ferry depuis Dubrovnik, Nous avons passé un séjour très reposant dans le cadre magnifique de la Villa Tea, étagée en terrasses, et très bien située en bord de mer à 15-20 min à pied de la vielle ville de Korcula (une belle balade le soir comme le matin !). Une splendide vue mer (quel lever de soleil!, Le spectacle incessant des bateaux et voiliers) le tout depuis notre appartement tout confort avec terrasse privée, une piscine très agréable pour se rafraichir le soir. Le petit déjeuner préparé par Tea et son mari est délicieux (omelette ou oeufs cuisinés, fromage et fruits frais, jus de fruit, café et thé à volonté). Tea est également de très bon conseil pour découvrir l'île (la vieille ville de Korcula, les plages de Racisce, les vignobles sur Lumbarda, les restaurants de la vieille ville). L'on se déplace facilement à vélo électrique que l'on peut louer en ville. L'arrivée/départ en taxi s'est bien passée pour nous. Tea saura vous conseiller. Si vous voulez faire une excursion sur l'ile adjacente de Mljet accessible en Ferry, attention l'entrée du parc national est à 25€/pers, et louez vos vélos directement sur place, sinon le site est magnifique à explorer sur une journée, Mais il y a tant de belle choses à découvrir à Korcula. The host, Tea, was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed, including a wonderful breakfast. For us the location was great, a nice walk into town, but what really makes this place special is the fantastic view.

Tea is a fabulous, attentive host and as mentioned in other reviews, the breakfast was such a highlight. So much lovely food that meant we never needed to eat lunch! And the location is stunning. To have a big veranda and such amazing view really is special. Great to have the pool too, for a quick cool off. The room was spotlessly clean and with everything you might need. I can see that the decor is of a certain taste and not your standard, arguably bland, hotel style, but it is memorable! We arrived very soon after the previous people had checked out but Tea worked hard to get the room ready early for us, which made all the difference for our first day.

The walk into Korcula Town is 20-25 mins and taxis are expensive and hard to come by so something to bear in mind if that's too far for you. It wasn't for us and the walk is mostly very delightful and mostly flat. On arrival at the port, we struggled to get a taxi and wish we'd known to pre-book one which we did for our return journey. It's around 13-16 euros each way. There is no local bus that goes near Villa Tea but you can hire bicycles in town.

We loved Villa Tea and hope to return one day. Every so often a place is so well-managed, welcoming, and enjoyable to stay at that it becomes the destination itself. This is one of these!

It’s a 20 minute walk along the water from Korcula town. We enjoyed the exercise and scenery along the way but there are taxis if a ride is preferred.

We had a wonderful stay in this little piece of paradise. The views from the terrace were stunning and Tea was a very helpful informative host. The breakfast was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would love to return. Thank you Tea for a fantastic holiday 😎😎

Loved it all

Tea, the owner is just a lovely, friendly and welcoming host. On arrival, she briefed us on the area which was very helpful as well recommending a very efficient taxi service and car rental place. The villa is very clean with all doors opening onto a lovely patio with stunning views. It is so peaceful and relaxing sitting on this patio overlooking the sparkling swimming pool, and the boats on the water. A delicious and freshly made breakfast was presented by Tea on a beautiful courtyard. Tea and her villa has been the highlight of my travels thus far. I highly recommend staying here on a visit to Korcula Sharon and Michael

Villa Tea was absolutely wonderful. We loved our apartment and the views over the bay were sensational. Tea was a gracious and most helpful host. She gave us some great suggestions to discover the best of Korcula and was always so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was also amazing. It was an easy 15 minute walk into the town along the water so very relaxing. We saw the Moreshka traditional sword dancing which was a great experience too. The half day boat cruise with dinner is an optional tour which would highly recommend. The red bus wine tour was good too.
