Location and the rustic feeling of the apartment were superb. Comfortable living space, huge bed and nice little kitchen area

The apartment was a bit cold during our spring stay but it is possible to warm it up using the fireplace

The location of the apartment is very good. The room is decorated in a vintage style with a special interior layout and thoughtful details with romantic touches. Very large and comfortable bed

Everything was very good, I would like a microwave oven in the equipment, which would make it easier to quickly heat up food. The stoves were warm and hard fuel was provided.

Perfect location, very nice retro apartment.

Location and plenty of cutlery plates etc available. Wood burning heaters aceilabje in both rooms.

Old fashioned and other reviews point out the good and bad. I think WiFi should be provided as sobetime a digital detox is not possible

Definitely recommended. The locations great, its pretty much in the centre of the city and with plenty of cafes nearby and walking elsewhere is also a breeze. but then again the whole city is very walking friendly. Now onto the apartment itself.. the bed was just glorious. My partners back hurts and she was as good as healed after sleeping in that beauty. The decorations of the place also give it a very homey feeling. if anyones a fan of bob dylan yall might be interested in finding the magazine with him they have there. Theres also marshall sound system (like speakers ig) and thanks to the acoustics of the place the sound was great. also plenty of candles and candle holders as well as a christmas tree and yule goat. although that was probably there for the winter time as we stayed for one night on new years. the ceiling was quite high so that was an interesting experience and even for the quantity of space that needs heating with the bonus room from the height of the ceilings everything was perfect with the temperature. (for context, when we were there it was a pretty warm winter so not sure how itd be with hotter or colder weathers but im sure itd be alright. the beds cozy enough to hide in either way.) oh and theres bean bags. very comfortable if you want to just sit in a corner and hide away from society. oh and cant forget to mention the cool bedside table lamp with a lightbulb on top of a book. there was also a plate on which you could leave some money. its a nice show of the money from different cultures with the symbols and all. the bathrooms nice, didnt use it much other than just the toilet since we didnt have much time of staying there. and the soap is a latvian classic with ambers. (in latvian ‘dzintars’) so.. very pretty. the cupboard was very fancy as well, theres plenty of choices for plates and cups in there. in general it was pretty aesthetically pleasing.

Not much to dislike really. Although if you’re anxious or paranoid, being in the kitchen/living room could be a bit nerve wrecking as those two windows have no curtains. but no one really looks inside anyways so everything’s dandy
