CASA MIMAR moderna y acogedora

This was our second stay at Casa Mimar and we enjoyed it just as much as our stay the same time last year. Please see last years review for details. We like this apartment, it is spacious and feels like a home. There is a lovely outside space from which you can see Escanfraga the extinct volcano to the side of Villaverde. This year I decided to walk up the camel trail and the views are great. Its a doable walk if you are reasonably fit. Villaverde has a great selection of restaurants, a bakery and supermarkets. For us we like the accessability to the different beaches in the north of the island.

A very functional apartment nicely furnished with all amenities, including a washing machine and a dishwasher. There is also a nice garden to relax and have a meal with a beautiful view of the Escanfraga vulcano. Unfortunately, it is not possible to go up during the bird breeding season. The apartment is located in a quiet zone with a dedicated parking slot just in front of the entrance. Not far away and conveniently located (less than 2 km), there is a supermarket SuperDino for the daily supply. Besides, the owner is lovely and always available in case of need. We had a wonderful stay there! We stayed only 4 weeks but this apartment invites you to stay much longer.

Unfortunately, the available clothesline is really small and not sufficient for a full laundry.

Great location. Extremely clean. Very well equipped and comfortable. Quiet yet close to eateries. Outside space is ideal, even in windy weather!

Lovely, bright and clean — finished to a high standard. Very nice outdoor space. Comfortable for a week’s stay to spread out. Walking to the local bakery each morning was a treat. Also a market within easy walking distance. Great restaurants in the area. Perfect base to explore the northern part the island.

This is a very good apartment set in a quiet location in the lovely town of Villaverde. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable especially the bed and the quality of the bed linen. The outside space was better than expected and was sunny in the morning. The kitchen was to a high standard. There are lots of restaurants and a lovely bakery/café within walking distance. A dedicated parking space was right outside the front door. Friendly next door neighbour. We wanted to stay here so that we could visit the coasts in the north of the Island which were fantastic and also with easy access to Corralejo,

Communication prior to arrival could have been better.

Location, peaceful neighborhood, garden with terrace, space in the apartment.

All good, only there was one unfortunate - hydrofor has broken and we had to shorten our stay. Very unfortunate moment, because we loved the place.

Great village with so really good restaurants. Very good communication with owner. We reported broken kettle and new one arrived within couple of hours - excellent. Good access to top half of island from village.
