The location was great and the garage downstairs was very useful.

Once we arrived in the apartment, I noticed that the left hand living room window shutter was broken, leaving the room in a semi darkness even during the day. I told this to our host but she said nothing could be done about. Later I learned that the owners have known this for some time but had done nothing to fix it. The apartment took 24 hours to warm up. The valve for warm water was turned off when we arrived, and it took time for us to realize it. A bedroom window was stuck shut and we couldn't air the room the whole time. Also the apartment looked much better in pictures than in real life.
