Chioureas apartments

What we wanted in our 1-week stay in Stoupa was an accommodation that provided more space than a standard hotel room - i.e. a living area separate from the bedroom (so one of us can go to bed while the other stays up), a full kitchen so that we could prepare some meals rather than eating EVERY meal at a restaurant, and also a washing machine. Chioureas apartments provided all of these things and more. The location is an easy 15 minute walk from the town's main beach - we've stayed in this neighborhood before and appreciate how quiet it is. The apartment provides ample off-street parking (even covered). Not just one but TWO balconies (both covered) to enjoy the view and sunsets. We found the kitchen to be adequately stocked for our needs - the unit even has a microwave which is somewhat rare in Greece rental units. Unexpected but nice was the change-out of towels and sheets, and removal of trash, every 2-3 days. We appreciated the Smart TV in the living room with apps like Netflix that we used extensively. Easy communication with the owner both before our arrival and while in the unit - owner very friendly and accommodating.

This unit has the usual list of minor maintenance items that seem to plague all rentals in Greece - things like light bulbs burned out, toilets that won't stop running until you jiggle the handle, etc - we choose to simply expect and live with such annoyances given the other strengths of the unit. One thing that I would suggest that the owner fix is the staircase situation. The stairs to the upper level are scary - a steep spiral staircase with no handrail on either side. I recommend installing a handrail the entire length of the stairs along the wall so that people have something to hold on to - I would have appreciated having that, and I'm sure future guests would agree.

A great location - quiet, with views of the sea and mountains and only a short walk into Stoupa and the beaches. Housekeeping was super - fresh sheets and towels provided every few days. The owner, Panagiotis, was very friendly and helpful, picking us up from the public bus stop with our suitcase. Good communication. We stayed two weeks and were very comfortable. We will book again. Highly recommended.

Great place, very private and quiet. Comfortable and roomy. Wonderful view with great sunsets. The hold is very nice and responsive, and attends to anything that is needed. A few minutes walk to the center of town.

Quiet location. Sea views but from a distance. Air conditioning much needed was good. 2 balconies. Frequent cleaning and change of bedding.

The shower was inadequate. Hand held and limited hot water. The description of seasonal swimming was misleading. For the price we were paying we expected a pool. Whereas it was a metre deep temporary pool and certainly not big enough to swim. Size more akin to a hot tub.

Υπέροχο κατάλυμα για οικογένεια, Το σπίτι αυτό είναι άνετο, με ξεχωριστό υπνοδωμάτιο στο πάνω όροφο και ξεχωριστή τουαλέτα! Οι άνθρωποι εδώ είναι οικογένεια και είναι υπέροχη, πρόθυμη και χαμογελαστή, Η παροχές στο σπίτι καλύπτουν όλες τις απαραίτητες ανάγκες! Διαθέτει 2 μεγάλες βεράντες πάνω και κάτω,, υπάρχει και κήπος με άνετο πέτρινο τραπέζι.. Διαθέτει internet WiFi σε όλο το σπίτι. Το πάρκινγκ είναι διαθέσιμο μπροστά στο σπίτι.. Οι τοποθεσία είναι πολύ καλή και είναι μόλις 3 με 5 λεπτά με αυτοκίνητο από τις καλύτερες παραλίες.. Σούπερ μάρκετ μεγάλο στα δύο λεπτά.. Ευχαριστούμε τον Παναγιώτη και τους γονείς του!

Είναι η δεύτερη φορά που το επιλέξαμε. Είναι ένα εξαιρετικό κατάλυμα.

Το διπλό κρεββάτι ήταν κάπως άβολο.

Lovely quiet location above Stoupa. Two verandas to watch the Sun go down from. Kitchen well equipped. Especially enjoyed the electric briki.

Bed a little spongy for us. We could not get hot water or much water at all from the shower. (May have been operator error?) Hot water fine from other taps.
