Casa Chiara

Casa Chira was in a great location close to old town, very clean and in a quite neighborhood. The Host was extremely supportive to help and gave us a couple of suggestions where to go and what to visit. Home was very clean and with all needs, felt like we were in our home ☺️ Proper size for max.4adults, or 5people if you have small kids.

Our host, Chiara, was exceptionally warm and welcoming, reaching out before our arrival via text and phone to ensure everything was in order. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with breakfast items, bottled water, and spotless cookware. During our stay (June 21–27), the heat was intense, so the fully functioning air conditioning was absolutely essential and greatly appreciated. The two-storey layout worked perfectly for our family, offering two full bathrooms, a washing machine, and a drying rack on the balcony—very practical for longer stays. The location was ideal—just a 5-minute walk to Monopoli’s charming historic center, and close to shops, restaurants, and beautiful beaches. We especially valued the fresh water fountain right outside the building, which was perfect for refilling bottles during the hot summer days. The people of southern Italy impressed us with their kindness, compassion, and hospitality, which made our stay even more special. We paid around €1,230 for a six-night stay, which we felt was very reasonable for the quality and location. I highly recommend reaching out to the host directly before booking—it’s always a good idea to connect personally and ask any questions you may have.

Parking was sometimes challenging, especially on weekends, as free spots on the street (white lines) were limited and paid spots (blue lines) were more common. Lastly, some of the beaches in Monopoli were rocky, so it's worth researching which ones are sandy before heading out.

We had a great stay at Casa Chiara! The apartment is in a perfect location—just a short walk from both the historic center and the train station. Everything was clean, nicely decorated, and exactly as expected. The kitchen could use a few more essentials, but since we mostly ate out, it didn’t really matter. Overall, a lovely place to stay in Monopoli!

One small note: the wooden ceiling in the bedroom occasionally creaked a bit at night. It’s probably just the charm of an older building, but as someone who’s a light sleeper, I noticed it. Nothing major though—it didn’t affect the quality of our stay.

Apartment was very comfortable, clean, well equipped and central. Chiara and her husband were very helpful and knowledgeable. We would stay there again if in Monopoli.

Lack of continuous hot water in shower.

The apartment is very clean. Good location, close to old town but quite. Very good recommendations of restaurants from the host, generally very good contact with the host. Excellent pillows - I have never found this kind B&B. Efficient air conditioning, it is good to have two bathrooms while there are different levels/floors of the apartment.
