The room was underground

facilties worked as planned. good shower. big sized rooms.

It should be included in the description that the property is underground. We did not expect this. There was no natural light and no natural air flow so the rooms felt musty and mouldy. There were also steep stairs which we did not expect. I was travelling with my parents and one has a bad knee so we would have actively avoided this had we known. We used the air purifiers in the rooms but we still felt very closed in. It's fine for one night but would not have stayed longer.

Perfect location - walking distance to old town and the beach. Excellent facilities - everything you need for a cosy stay in Monopoli. Very clean! Very helpful host (even when I couldn’t speak any Italian).

Television wasn’t usable.

The host is a liar. And even after asking for proof for her lies, she didn't come clean. The apartment is very dark and moist, under the ground level (but in a quiet street, that waa problem). All the cups, plates and so smell after a mold. You have to decide, if you cook or use the dehumidifiers (otherwise the safety circuit gets down).

The location was really good because we were in with the locals, so you really get a taste of the local culture.

At first sight it looked really nice, but then on closer inspection, the apartment was very tired. The bed linens were worn out and looked really old, same for the towels, the bedroom furniture and the kitchen units again very worn and there was a fusty smell coming from under the sink. After a few days, the toilet in the back bedroom developed a small leak. The facilities is in need of an upgrade. We actually checked out 4 days early.

Perfect location in town!

Not much sun light and things can feel quite damp.

Breakfast was not provided, but the pastry shop was close by. The apartment had two suites which was perfect as I was traveling with my adult son. The owner was friendly and accommodating.

There was nothing for us to dislike.
