Charming Lake Como Stay - Central & Scenic

Prachtig uitzicht, niet ver van restaurants en ferry vandaan, historisch pand, fijne grote ruimte.

Geen waterdruk bij bidet.

A fantastic apartment with a lovely view over the town and lake Como. It was also very well equipped if you did want to stay home, but with so many great restaurants it was the perfect location to wander into the town. The hosts Cristina and Davide gave us all the recommendations we needed for our short stay and helped with any questions about the apartment.

Nothing we didn’t like but you need to be prepared to walk slightly up hill to reach the apartment, good for burning off a few calories from the delicious food!

like all classic European cities it was a steep walk back up the hill after accessing the lakeside village facilities, but good for the waistline!!!

This is a really lovely house with beautiful views out onto the lake. The set up is modern and comfortable, and the communication from the team was excellent all the way through. Bed was very comfortable and there is an efficient rubbish system. The house is located just above the main part of town, within easy walking distance of good restaurants and the supermarket.

You definitely need to factor in the steep hike up, with the cobbled roads - it is pretty tough with a heavy suitcase, though certainly possible. I found the instruction book for the house in the laundry cupboard on the second day but if this had been out somewhere more obvious that would have been helpful.

Fabulous views. Good facilities. Very clean and newly refurbished. Good communication with hosts. Parking available. Great location for walking down to Menaggio. Central heating if needed.

A very steep climb up from the village, so wouldn't suit all.
