GBWe did not stay at Alluvial Santorini Suites, as we were moved at the last minute by the manager, due to an issue with the previous guests. We were told that we would be given an 'upgrade' in their sister hotel, nearby. We were moved to Acave Suites. The room was very clean, modern and very peaceful inside with a comfortable bed and also a jaccuzzi.
We felt that this was in fact, a 'downgrade'. There was no plunge pool outdoors and no shelter over the outside area, which was very small, with only 2 beanbags to sit on. We were expecting a courtyard area with table and chairs. Beacause of this, we were compelled to stay indoors during the heat of the day. The location was very remote. We had not planned to have a car so this made our stay difficult when we had to go out to find places to eat.There was no daily housekeeping. The internet only worked for the first couple of hours of our stay. I regret to have to write this review, as we have actually stayed in a deluxe suite at Alluvial Santorini Suites in the past, and were looking forward to our return there.This experience spoilt the end of our holiday.
GBThey upgraded our suite kindly and it is such a beautiful private enclosure. The hostess was incredibly kind and gave so many incredible recommendations, organised breakfasts and taxis for us also.
The pool is quite small, other than this our stay was perfect.
ITEverything was great. We were realy lucky because we were alone so we enjoyed the common spaces outside. It was amazing and we seriously considered to prolongue our stay. The place is less then 10 min walk from Mesaria center and from the bus stop to Fira. It is a very quite residential area and you can enjoy and relax yourself during the breakfast or after a day visiting Santorini. The kitchen is fully furnished with a coffe machine too. Katerina was very helpful and kind. For the future visit in Santorini Alluvial will be our first choice.
