Sottovento

Enzo gave me a good welcome and was very helpful with parking my car. I also loved the new renovated apartment which is in a pretty old building and has a lovely balcony with view to the beach. It is perfectly located to go into the old town and down on the beach. There is everything in 3min walking distance. The apartment was very clean and nicely put together. When I am in the area again, I will definetly come back and hope to speak more italiene.;)

Great location inside the walls of the historical center. Our host Enzo had good suggestions for restaurants and made sure we got a good table in the reservations he made for us.

We liked everything, but beware of the lack of sound privacy in the bathroom. You want to stay there with someone who you are very comfortable with.

Sottovento is in a fantastic location right beside the town beach. Monopoli is a lovely town with a variety of beaches, an old town wall, beautiful castle and a variety of restaurants. Enzo and his wife Simona were very good to me as a solo traveller throughout my stay. I would highly recommend Sottovento as a place to stay.
