Very clean and spacious, outside seating, sea view.

Since it is quite expensive, I would expect a bit more amenities. There is a washing mashine, but no detergent. Even after we asked multiple times and were assured to get some, we didn't. There was also only instant coffee that wasn't refilled every day. Although the accommodation is a bit off the centre, there are no bikes offered. We would have even paid for those.

Great value for money in a beautiful location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very clean and had all the facilities required. Will definitely return to this place.

The property was as advertised and perfect for our requirements. Beautiful views of the sea from the front and Mt Pico from the back and side. Well equipped, beds very comfortable and great shower with hot water. Situated 10-15 min walk to the centre of Madalena - easy walk either along the sea road or main road. 5 mins walk from lava pools. I cant fault anything about the property- we had a fantastic stay. The owners were really friendly and helpful- great communication before and during the stay. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this property - if you dont have good mobility choose the other accommodation here - there is an incline to get to these apartments. Unforgettable experience.

We had a car, so location was no problem. We checked in after midnight and getting the keys were no problem, even though it was late she wanted us to buzz in to make sure we know how to find our rooms. The room was tidy, the kitchen had some coffee and water. The washroom was clean and had body wash. It is by the coast, so during the day you can see the ocean out of the window. This is family run business, and the dad was very excited to show us his homemade liqueur and we got to try some as well - very yummy. Family friendly stay. :)

The water drained a little slow in the shower, but not a big problem.

Fantastic sea view, cozy apartment, very clean and quiet. The cute little dog of the owner came over to visit.

We would book again, overall we liked it a lot. The warm water in the shower was somewhat unstable. For the blanket we would prefer duvet covers instead of putting the blanket between sheets.
