The house and the view are amazing! Our hosts were great.

The location is not the best if you don’t have a car. Besides that, everything was amazing!

The apartment was modern and well decorated. It was up on the hill in the town of Monterpertuso, above Positano, but that was nice because it was quiet.

We loved the property. Only disadvantage was the buses were so crowded, but that’s to be expected in the summer.

The property was perfect for our 3 night stay in Positano. The views are beautiful to wake up to every day. The free parking spot came in handy for our car rental. The property is located away from the crowds of Positano so it was the perfect location for us to unwind after a day of exploring.

Teresa and Fabrizio were fantastic hosts, present, helpful and responsive when I needed them. The property has individual terraces, a common terrace and a garden too. The apartment was very spaceous and comfortable. Make sure you go for the breakfast - I had the Savoury one and it was awesome! Great touch by the hosts to offer wines for sale in the apartment and to put together a perfect, comprehensive online guide for your stay. The village next to the property has a few nice restaurants a short stroll away, for dinner, if you want to avoid the trek into town.

The view to Positano from my terrace (which is one of the main attractions) was a bit obstructed by the roof of a house below, but no big deal. The cost was significant, but that's common for all of Positano - there are a lot of American tourists with lots of money there driving prices up. Most importantly, make sure you're aware Positano is a very steep town and this property is high up the hill - 30 mins of steps to the center which works better on the way down but can be challenging on the way up. There are buses but they are chaotic and uncomfortable during peak hours. Taxis and private cars work best.

What a wonderful stay! Fabrizio and Teresa’s apartment is spotless, beautifully decorated, and feels like a true home away from home. We loved waking up to the stunning view each morning—the location couldn’t be better for exploring the area and then relaxing in peace. A special thank‑you to sweet Fluffy, whose wagging tail made us smile every day. We’ll be back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this booking location in Positano, and I was thoroughly impressed! While it's not located in the center of Positano, the benefits far outweigh the slight distance. Casa Monticello is a hidden gem! Nestled in the charming village of Montepertuso, just above Positano, at about 30 minutes walk or 10 minutes by bus / car, this holiday home offers breathtaking panoramic views of Positano and the sea that will leave you speechless. The spacious home is beautifully decorated with exquisite taste, and the lovely terrace is the perfect spot to soak up the sun and take in the stunning views. Our hosts, Teresa and Fabrizio, were warm and welcoming, providing a thoughtful and personalized touch to our stay. They also went above and beyond by providing helpful information via a convenient link, making our stay seamless and enjoyable. The real game-changers are the FREE PARKING and the bus station being RIGHT NEXT TO THE DOOR. No more stressing about parking in Positano's narrow streets or lugging your bags up steep hills. The bus station's proximity made it a breeze to get to the center of Positano and explore the Amalfi Coast. The gardens at Casa Monticello are a true delight! Lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and of course, an abundance of lemon trees laden with juicy lemons. It's the perfect setting to relax and unwind. And then there's Fluffy, the owner's adorable dog, who stole our hearts with friendly and affectionate nature. Fluffy would often join us on the terrace, wagging her tail and soaking up the attention. She truly added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Casa Monticello. The combination of stunning gardens, lovely accommodation, and friendly furry companions made our stay at Casa Monticello an unforgettable experience. Casa Monticello is a charming holiday home nestled in Montepertuso, Positano. Perched high on the hill, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of Positano and the sea. The home is very spacious, featuring a lovely terrace, and is beautifully decorated with exquisite taste. Teresa and Fabrizio, our hosts, warmly welcomed us and kindly saw us off at the end of our stay. They also provided helpful information via a convenient link, making everything easily accessible. We enjoyed exploring Montepertuso and Nocella, both surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Casa Monticello truly felt like a home away from home during our two-night stay in Positano.
