Emorfia's Apartments

+ Clean and quite spacious apartment in a central location of the village Platanias (region Rethymno). + Sand & pebble beach in about 5-6 minutes of walk + many good restaurants, supermarkets etc. in the neighbourhood. + Friendly and responsive host, who reacted to our requests fast. Thank you again, Theodoros! + It is easy to reach the highway by car and start exploring the island from this location. + To sum up, we would like to come again one day!

- Central location means that having some street noise in your rooms is - at times - unavoidable. On 2-3 nights during our 1 week stay, a night club nearby played a very loud music, which made sleeping impossible till about 11pm. While it has nothing to do with the flat per se, the abound nightlife in the neighbourhood may make your stay (in particular, with children), a bit stressful.

The apartment was exactly as described and as you can see in the pictures: modern, clean, with everything you need to sleep well, cook, relax, feel at home. Theodoros, the host, is very very helpful and friendly. It was reassuring to know he was available to give local advice or deal with any problems (we didn't have any problems though). The apartment really does have everything you may need: towels, hairdryer, iron for clothes, kitchen, cooking utensils, fridge, a drying rack that dries your clothes in the balconay overnight. The balcony is big, it has a nice table and chairs; the apartment has curtains and shutters if you want a dark room at night; the aircon works very well, the sound isolation is excellent. We slept very well as the mattress and pillows are great, we have only good things to say, we loved it. Plus, the location is great with many tavernas nearby, a supermarket and of course, a short walk to the beach!

Nothing was bad, there were just 1 or 2 details that could make this apartment even a bit more perfect so we provided that feedback already. We missed having some warmer lights in the bedroom and a shower holder on the wall that's about head height. We already provided this feedback to the host. :) also, we travelled in April when it is not so warm yet so if you travel then, be sure to have warm socks to wear at home - the beautiful marble floors are a bit cold everyhwere in Crete, not just in Emorfia's Apartments :D

The apartment was very clean and well appointed very convenient to the area we wanted to be in also had parking which was great for us. The owner was very responsive to messages and although I didn't have any need to contact him during our stay i am confident that he would have sorted any query or problem.

There was nothing negative about this apartment the only thing which would have made it absolutely perfect would have been a comfortable chair in the living area as the seating was understandably a daybed due to the apartment being for more than 2 guests, I found it a little too far back to rest comfortably but to be honest that is probably more to do with the fact I am quite short and have arthritis and not a problem most people would have

New, modern, big, and equipped apartment, with a very very helpful host! The apartment was amazing on the photos, but it was way more amazing when we saw it with our eyes! Big spaces, big balcony, two strong air conditions, equipped kitchen, clean bathroom with bath tub. Easy access, great communication with the host, he was very helpful. It is near at a hotel, but it was quiet during the evenings, we slept well.

Great location. It is central & easy to get to the beach, highway & old town. Bed Matress hard & good. linen & towels fresh & crisp. Generally fresh & clean. Modern spacious apartment.

Some Parking challenges if using a car. Not sufficient parking for the number of apartments. Street parking was ok though

The accomodiation is very confortable.

The host is very nice and answers fast any question. The location is great. Lidl and other supermarkets are very close (walking distance). Beach is also close. Many taverns (personally recommend Vergina). Parking spots are safe (video cameras). Air conditioner in each room. Kitchenette is equipped with everything you need. Comfy beds and pillows.

Just a little bit noise as we faced the main street, but you get used to it. Nothing to complain really.
