Victorian Church Flat 3

Location was great, with easy access to places of interest and the shops & supermarkets. The host was friendly & responsive to provide assistance. The kitchen was equipped with condiments like salt, pepper, cooking oil & spray. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay with 2 en suite bathrooms. LP

The shower was a little complicated.

Great location. Plenty of space for 3 adults, especially two en suites. Good kitchen facilities. Very clear information re access, gate and parking prior to arrival. Prompt response from host re confirmation of arrival time.

Have stayed here several times. Always superb value for money. Very clean, modern and comfortable. Everything you need is included, even some tea and coffee, though I take my own. There is a large Sainsburys less than 2 minutes away and the town centre location is very convenient. Each bedroom has its own en-suite which is a bonus if staying with friends. Feels like a home from home.

Parking has become more difficult. I used to be able to park in the small car park belonging to the flats but this is no longer allowed. There was a white van parked against the railings at the back where the recommended parking was. It was there for all 3 nights so the first night we parked on the road outside the restaurant, after 6pm and until 8.40am. The other two nights we found a single spot around the back near the Sainsburys loading entrance which we think was ok to use. There is free parking in Sainsburys for 3 hours with no return for an hour and there seems to be an option to pay for longer if you ring up. I was able to juggle the Sainsburys parking as I was in and out during the day. There are other car parks nearby and also some street parking around. It’s just nice to have your car close.

Great central location right next to Sainsbury's and town with a little park next door. The space in the flat was good.

The cottage was not thoroughly clean. Under the window in one bedroom was dust on the carpet, the bathroom in double bedroom had a small of sewage and the fridge and behind was filthy. My partner had to pull it out and clean behind it so we could use and the smell still wouldn't go. There were also some starting of mould in one bedroom with a few spots on the wall. The host was also quite rude when she turned up as we were 45 minutes late leaving due to our baby not being well so I was delayed getting back to get stuff but our bags were all out of the flat and i was told we should have already left and to move my car. Anyway it's not a bad flat but we would not stay there again due to cleanliness and it needs a little TLC

Great spot right next to the town centre. Right next to Sainsburys and a lovely restaurant at your doorstep..

Parking was sometimes difficult to find

Good size. Family with 2 small children and fitted in travel cot etc. good size bathrooms and bedrooms.

Could do with a really good deep clean and maybe a bit of a freshening up.

A great little home from home. So convenient for the shops and visiting family.
